We only ask for what we need to answer your enquiry. Here’s exactly what this website collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
ReSpark is a student startup run by students of Class 11B at Sishya, Adyar. In this policy, “ReSpark”, “we” and “us” mean the ReSpark team. You can reach us through our contact form.
What we collect
When you submit an order enquiry (checkout)
- your name, email address and phone number
- your delivery address, city, state and PIN code
- any notes you add
- the kits, add-ons, quantities and total in your cart, plus the enquiry reference shown to you
When you send a message (contact form)
- your name and email address
- what your message is about, and an order reference if you give one
- your message
Stored only in your own browser
Your cart and your Build Your Kit selections are saved in your browser’s local storage so they’re still there when you come back. They stay on your device and are not sent to us unless you submit an order enquiry.
When you type your PIN code at checkout, the delivery estimate is worked out inside your browser. The PIN code isn’t sent anywhere until you submit your enquiry.
What we don’t collect
- No payment details. No payment is taken on this website.
- No accounts or passwords. You don’t need to sign up.
- No analytics or advertising trackers. This website doesn’t use them, and it doesn’t set cookies of its own.
How we use your information
We use it only to reply to your message, confirm and arrange your order, and handle any replacement request. We don’t use it for marketing without asking you first.
Where it goes
Form submissions are received through our website host’s form service and can be read by the ReSpark team. We don’t sell your information. We share it only with services needed to run the website, or where the law requires it.
This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which can see technical details such as your IP address.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and contact details for up to 12 months after your enquiry is completed, for example once your order has been delivered and any replacement request is resolved. After that we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep a particular record for longer.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you’ve sent us. Just contact us.
- You can clear your cart at any time from the cart page, or by clearing your browser’s site data.
- If you’re under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us your personal details.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page.
